Taking on the Awful Awful, a Reno classic

We walked into downtown Reno's the Nugget casino from Virginia Street, through the smoky gaming area to the diner in back in pursuit of the famous Awful Awful burger.
The most popular item on the menu at this Reno institution is advertised on a sandwich board in front of the casino, on T-shirts and signs hanging on the walls inside.

awesome burger, great size, bunch of fries. never wait more than 10 minutes... great for after a night of drinking at the el dorado around 3am
