The ballpark's many options
April 19, 2009
Three different concession stand areas, the beer garden and a smattering of grills here and there offer game goers a plethora of choices. Feel like Italian? Grab a pizza. Mexican? Tacos for you. Standard American fare? Try a jumbo dog or soft pretzel. Lines generally aren’t too long — about six people deep at most at the main concession stands — and they’re nearly nonexistent at smaller grill stands throughout the ballpark. And don’t forget the beer — Coors Light and Miller Genuine draft is available at all three of the main concession areas. The beer garden also offers Sierra Nevada and Fat Tire ale, and the 360 bar out among the berm seating offers cocktails made of Ketel One, Bombay Sapphire, Crown Royal, Jack Daniels, Captain Morgan and Cuervo gold, along with beer selections including Fat Tire, Coors Light, Heineken, Miller Lite and Newcastle. But drink early — there’s no booze sold after the bottom of the seventh inning. We started in the southwest corner at the American stand and moved counterclockwise to Mexican and then Italian. (Concessions are the red shapes on the map). The stand next to section 120 has the beer garden and fewer food options.
