Established in 1927 as a tamale factory by the current owner's grandfather, the Coney Island Bar has been passed down through the generations, making it an area classic. The Venue, with a full bar, is rented out for private parties, but you can get a taste of lunch Monday through Saturday with daily specials. Wednesday is the only chance to try the public dinner, but you can always go in to the bar for a drink. Oh, and this place is popular. The Thursday, Friday and Saturday dinners are booked until 2010. Ask for Greg Galletti when booking your party.
