That Pietro's can draw such an enthusiastic crowd is a testament to the place, because it's otherwise not the sort that stands out from the crowd. Hidden away in an upstairs Victorian Square storefront, the dining room features some fairly funky decor: brown vinyl booths, pink sponge-painted walls with red trim, and ceiling-mounted lattice with vines. Fluorescent light and cooking noise spill in from the kitchen, which is directly adjacent.
