While trying to figure out how many calories we might be consuming, assistant manager David Sokh dug out the tub of plain vanilla ice cream, which has 170 calories per half cup.
He estimated that their scoops were about a full cup. So, not counting the much richer flavors and all the toppings, an Earthquake is, at minimum, 2,720 calories. Obviously, Swensen’s is not marketing this as part of any reasonable regular diet.
