We have been to BJ's 4 times. Once for dinner and 3 times for lunch. Have not been dissapointed yet. It's always very busy, but we have never waited more than 20 minutes to be seated. Each time, we have had great service by a friendly server.
We had steak and the deep fried onions for dinner and it was very good. We usually have the half sandwhich & salad for lunch and that is also very good.
Portions are perfect and at a fair price. Atmosphere is nice and although they are always busy, the service is better than expected because the staff is organized and they seem to have experienced servers. Very impressed with BJ's and will keep coming back!!!!
Poor BJ's, I wanted to like the place but with the long wait and so so food and really bad service...it just wasn't to be. We waited like 45mins even we were told 30...Ok no real biggie, If all these other people are here, maybe thats a good sign. The service on the other hand was sooo bad...wait and wait..and then see the server helping the other tables, but not us! You would think that with all the servers that they have here, the service would be better. I watched to see how many tables each server had and it looked like only 3 to 4...I could do that in my sleep...Yeah I was a server before! This is bad for the servers as you don't get a lot of tips in a night with a limited number of tables...but in theory it SHOULD be great for the customer, with great service...but was not the case! OK now for the food. We had this famous pan pizza thing....It was just so so...you know ediable but you wouldn't want to get it again kinda of thing! So over all take a pass on the new and shiny...maybe try the tried and true....Thats why I've been going to the not so new TGI Friday's near the Mall...no wait and geat food for cheap!
Report This ReviewWhen you first walk into BJs, you say "New, big, slightly fancier than others here". This brewery has a definite CA feel with the money obviously invested, marketing within, and large CA food variety. I love the beeras, especially the local beers they have on tap from time to time. The food is great with the pizzas being the calling card. Great bar area with the TVs in multiple or a single screen. The beers are available for purchase in kegs as well, and very modestly priced. Great addition to the area sceen.
