The king of sports food, we salute wings and the places to get them, which also range from mild to slightly wild. If you think we left out a deserving nominee, let us hear about it!

Reno, NV 89501Noble Pie Parlor, (Fomerly called Pie-Face Pizza Co.) sits downtown below historic the El Cortez Hotel and upholds the ideals of incredible pizza and craft beers. They'll deliver to anywhere downtown at ridiculously late hours. Their pizza offerings include New York-style, mini-calzones, garlic knots and seasonal salads. There's a big TV, video games, and a DJ booth for that pizza lounge feel. There are different theme nights every day of the week, including a bottomless mimosa brunch on Sunday, and the place is very bike friendly.

Reno, NV 89523Bully's is a classic sports bar equipped with numerous TVs, most fed by satellites, so you can watch just about any sporting event that's televised. This local chain has become popular for its pub food, but the menu also includes upscale items including steak and seafood. The decor is low-key and the atmosphere casual, making Bully's an ideal setting to have drinks with friends. The full bar includes 20 beers on tap, and cocktails include jumbo-sized Bloody Marys and screwdrivers. Like most locations, this one is open 24 hours a day. (The Robb Drive Bully's is our pick to represent the Bully's franchise as a whole, so if you prefer another location, it's up to you to decide if you think this one is an OK substitute.)
J.J.'s Pie Company

Reno, NV 89503This pub serves up pizza, wings and subs to a lunchtime crowd from Saint Mary's Medical Center. Dinner patrons are made up of UNR students, tourists and local families. Several arcade games allow another way to rewind after a long day's work, or bring one back to the job for your crew.
Shenanigans Olde English Pub

Reno, NV 89509Shenanigans Olde English Pub, decked with a British flag, offers the British pub food scene, including their signature fish chips. Located in the Save-Mart plaza, Shenanigans is also known for their Cajun chicken strips and their Montecristo sandwich. Shenanigans also has a happy hour from 4-6. Guinness on tap? Of course.

Reno, NV 89523Pizza Plus has great pizza and wing specials served in a laid-back family friendly atmosphere. One medium pizza and a half bucket of chicken wings costs $22.99. Also offered is an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet for $6.49 Monday-Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Buffet consists of salad items, pizza, wings and steak cut fries.

Reno, NV 89521Wingstop serves up buffalo wings in nine different flavors including Cajun and Atomic, which have garnered awards at wing festivals. The menu consists primarily of wings and a few side dishes, however boneless chicken strips are offered for those who don't want to mess with the, well, mess. For the health-conscious who splurge, it is comforting to know the chicken is deep fried in non-trans-fat oil. Happy hour is Monday through Thursday and draft and bottled beer is discounted. The small restaurant has a handful of tables and is decorated with nostalgic pieces of aviation equipment from the 1930s and 40s. (The South Reno spot is our pick to represent the multiple locations).
