Deli Towne USA, located inside a Shell Gas Station, is a hot spot for awesome sandwiches. The unique atmosphere blends a gourmet deli with wine and cheese display with a typical convenience store. Depending on your appetite, sandwich sizes are 5-inch, 8-inch, or 12-inch, and you can choose one of a dozen types of bread. Build your own sandwich with meats sliced fresh to order or try a hot sandwich or specialty salad. Party platters are available for order with just a few hours notice and a credit card reservation.

We want to emphasize that this is not a bakery. Sure, the 5th Street Bakehouse bakes lots of delicious thing, but it's a place where you can get delicious sandwiches as well pastries by Napa-trained chef Dan Carter.

Beach Hut Deli

A high energy deli that provides fun for both adults and children. The beach theme offers plenty of signature subs, including the "surfin bird" which consists of turkey, bacon, avocado and cream cheese. They offer student discounts to McQueen students and have discounts for both UNR and TMCC students. It features turn tables, an Xbox, video games and happy hour from 3-7 p.m. daily.

Michael's Deli

With lots of Yankee and sports memorabilia on the walls, Michael's is a New York-style deli, even if the owner learned his deli chops in L.A. Hot and cold subs are on the menu with paninis and salads, or go big with the Mile High sandwiches. Pastrami sandwiches are a big draw. Daily specials include some items not on the regular menu. You can wash it all down with a fountain drink, but the bottled soda selection here is astonishing. Everything from Sprecher root beers to the kitschy Faygo to Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray, a soda made with celery seed (much tastier than you'd imagine). Fax your orders ahead to 322-2343.
