Sure, pizza sort of fits under the umbrella of Italian, but it's deserving of its own category. In fact, don't tell Italian, but if we had to choose, we'd go with the pie. If you think we left out a deserving nominee, let us hear about it!

Reno, NV 89503This pub serves up pizza, wings and subs to a lunchtime crowd from Saint Mary's Medical Center. Dinner patrons are made up of UNR students, tourists and local families. Several arcade games allow another way to rewind after a long day's work, or bring one back to the job for your crew.

Noble Pie Parlor

Reno, NV 89501Noble Pie Parlor, (Fomerly called Pie-Face Pizza Co.) sits downtown below historic the El Cortez Hotel and upholds the ideals of incredible pizza and craft beers. They'll deliver to anywhere downtown at ridiculously late hours. Their pizza offerings include New York-style, mini-calzones, garlic knots and seasonal salads. There's a big TV, video games, and a DJ booth for that pizza lounge feel. There are different theme nights every day of the week, including a bottomless mimosa brunch on Sunday, and the place is very bike friendly.
Grimaldi's Coal Brick-Oven Pizzeria

Sparks, NV 89434The pizza franchise takes its name from the famous Brooklyn original and uses a coal-fired oven to give the pies a unique flavor. The oven is re-stoked daily at 4 p.m., which takes about half an hour, but that's what the bar is for, right?

Reno, NV 89503Being within walking distance of the University of Nevada, Reno explains the young student crowd you'll encounter at this pub and restaurant. With great food and drink deals as well as a large backyard for outdoor seating, Pub Sub is an ideal place to grab a meal and some beers with friends.

Nu Yalk 's pizza is alright but the staff sucks. Haven't been to the new location but would rather not patronize.
