I JUST discovered the best sushi in town!

I went there with my girlfriend the other week. The experience was so great, that is our official date place now.
The first day, their service swept me off my feet, they even brought in free dessert for me and my date. It was called a Tarzan, a whipped banana, mango sushi.. I promise it's better than it sounds. Their service after has been on and off, but that is the experience of most restaruant I suppose. They have some of the most creative rolls in town. Some of my friends almost put me off it, saying, "Ew, they put cream cheese and nuts in my roll! I HATE cream cheese and nuts!". I'm so happy I decided to go anyway. Besides, if you don't like cream cheese... don't order it! Their Spicy Ben Franklin is my favorite, give it a try!

The dim atmosphere is a cross between classy and affordable. And so is the price, actually. They lowered their prices from what I hear. Which is amazing, considering sushi restaruants have been popping in and out of business in Reno for the past few years!

Go and order the Spicy Ben. If you don't like sushi, order the Korean BBQ ribs. A KOREAN RESTARUANT couldn't make 'em any better.

The Best in Reno

THE BEST SEARED TUNA I have ever eaten. Make sure you get a few double orders of it. The blend of spice-ing is very flavorful and not over powering. It complements the tuna very well.
I am not a long roll guy because when I am solo I don't like a ton of one thing. I like Sashimi or Nigiri pieces or hand rolls. BUT Sushi Moto has some great creative long rolls well worth trying. They don't make them huge so if you are solo and can't share you get just enough and you can try a few different ones. Spicy Ben Franklin is a good one.
Excellent quality Sushi. Creative well designed long rolls.....macadamian nuts, japanese basil....more.....Only 4 handrolls on the menu which turned me off at first. BUT they happily told me they would turn any long roll into a handroll. I did that at first but then realized there is no need their longrolls are perfect size. An easy 10 out of 10. BEST IN RENO.

Love the nuts!

The sushi with macadamia nuts is what I think of most when I think of Sushi Moto. I've only been there twice and thought the sushi was great both times. The service was a bit mixed, with one of our chefs focusing way more on another party, which is something that I think happens all to often at all-you-can-eat sushi places, but the sushi itself stands out compared to other local places for some creative and delicious choices.

Sushi Moto!

Let me tell you in advanced, I'm a sushi snob. I fell in love with this place as soon as I took one bite of their Saturday Night roll! I was actually an avid fan of another place..(a place that I will not mention their name..*ehem* sushi pier *eheh*). The creativity of the rolls, the freshness of the fish, and the quieter atmosphere is what got me. The sevice is exellent as well! Not to mention, they lowered their all you can eat prices! Sushi Moto is officially my favorite place to get yummy yummy sushi! :)
