Cake at Reno Knit
Sacramento alternative rock band Cake has been around a long time, grabbing widespread attention for "The Distance" in 1996.
They made a rare trip to Reno and performed for a sold-out crowd at the Knitting Factory on Saturday.
Frontman John McCrea did a lot of talking, but it was a pleasure to hear him speak as well as sing in his dinstinctive, oft-monotone style.
