Girl Talk plays a different tune

He works off tracks from his four albums and improvises new match-ups on the fly with his well-loved laptop, eliciting cheers from the crowd whenever a preferred song entered the fray, such as “Come On Eileen,” “Glamorous,” “Whoomp! (There It Is),” and pretty much anything by Kanye West.

Whether just dancing to his own catchy creation, leading the crowd in sing-alongs, or coaxing everyone to jump, he bounced and shook with infectious energy. Oh, and he also liked to venture into the thick of the dance floor and tended to climb on the equipment like a musically-gifted monkey.
