This one is almost no contest. Although Blink-182 have produced their fair share of hit singles over the years, including a pair of Gold records (“Feeling This” and “I Miss You”), they’re no match for Green Day’s amazing track record: nine No. 1 modern rock hits spanning 15 years, from 1994’s “Longview” to this year’s “Know Your Enemy.” As hit-making machines go, Green Day are tough to beat.
