Like 'American Idol' with blindfolds... and a slightly taller host
Man cannot live by "Idol" alone.
NBC's new singing competition has Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton as judges coaching and mentoring their pick of talent solely based upon their voice. Thanks to the invention of the rotating chair, the judges won't see any of the contestants until after they perform. Through the blind auditions to a battle of teams, the show gears up for the live competition where one winner will receive $100,000 and a record deal with Universal Republic.

"The Voice" premieres Tuesday, April 26, at 9 p.m. on NBC. Regularly airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. after Tuesday, May 3.
