Is this mysterious sci-fi project a prequel to "Alien" or not? Everyone involved has been tight-lipped on the subject, but enough hints have leaked out suggesting strong ties to the beloved franchise Scott launched in 1979. Rapace leads the impressive cast as a heroic astronaut, with Theron as a corporate villain, Fassbender as an android and supporting roles for Idris Elba, Patrick Wilson and Guy Pearce. Scott promises a 3D sci-fi thriller for the post-"Avatar" age.
