Why should Green Lantern, Captain America and the X-Men have all the fun?

With “Green Lantern" [pictured],” “Thor”, “Captain America,” “X-Men” and “Cowboys & Aliens” opening this summer, “The Avengers” on tap for next year, and more movies in the works for Superman, Batman and Spider-Man, it’s pretty obvious that Hollywood is still raiding the comic book store for ideas.
But they’re not looking hard enough. There are still plenty of good ideas for comic adaptations not currently in development as films (or TV shows, or video games). Here’s our suggestions for 10 comic books that deserve to make their way to theaters.
