I think that Movie was horrible I waited and waited for it to come out and was so disappointed I could gag they left out so much and added stuff that wasn't even in the book! I love the books I've read every single one of them at least 4 times or more a piece and for them to just go and butcher it like that made me so mad they should of just put what was in the book in there instead of making stuff up I mean seriously where was the big fight scene at the end?!?! where was the part where they were learning how to apparate it just was horrible!

I ended up seeing the movie last weekend, and I have to say that while much was left out, I did enjoy it overall. You can only squeeze so much into a two and a half hour movie, and I think that they covered the major themes well. The only thing that bothered me was the amount of time they devoted to "snogging," which is important to show that the characters are developing emotionally, but some of that time could have been spent covering other details. I guess I need to remember that the people making this movie probably aren't targeting 20 something males.

So I saw this movie last Friday night. I thought it was wonderfully entertaining, as I am a huge fan of the previous books and movies. However, I have to say I was so incredible disappointed that they did not include the funeral of Dumbeldore. I can deal with the other things that were left out from the book, but that really upset me. It was my favorite part of the book and so beautifully written. I remember reading it and thinking about how amazing it could be on the big screen. Im hoping that perhaps it could be included in the 7th movie? Loved the movie, but sad about the funeral omission.

I saw the film today and it is an awesum acheivement. Of course I am bothered by some of the omissions and changes. I think the burning of the borough was not in the book and did not seem to serve any purpose. The scene with Ron taking the love potion was if anything better than the book. I miss some of the excursions in the pensive, but all in all, a masterful creation. To those who cry that the movie does not faithfully follow the book, would they sit through an 8 hour long movie? The movie goes along at a steady clip and tells the story beautifuly.

I was totally DISSAPOINTED at this movie. I know that movies are going to leave out things from the book and add other stuff in but they had VERY poor planning in making this movie. For starters, they didnt go back and show the blood line of VOLDEMORT, they didnt show how Harry was so attached to his potions book, didnt show how they found out that Snape was the half blood prince until the very end, didnt show how Dumbledore stunned Harry under the Invisibiliy cloak when he was killed, and they didnt show the funeral of Dumbledore. I think not showing the funeral was an insult to his memory, and they didnt show the final battle at the end with the remaining members of the ORDER of the PHEONIX. Yes they did show how the raging hormones of the students in the movie but the critics hyped up this movie way too much and was not worth the 20.00 my wife and I spent to go see this movie.

Honestly i hope to see a better sequal i was very disappointed in this one! I have seen other comments about the book! I believe i will start reading the series in hopes to get the full picture that others have.

Going tonight and am excited because several reviews have called this the best one since "Prisoner of Azkaban." In my opinion, that was the best in the series thus far. I know that they are going to leave stuff out, but you kind of have to with a 600+ page book. My hope is that they picked and chose wisely.

Harry Poters new movie sure looks good, but freaky, too! I remeber seeing the one a few years ago and it was very very freaky, especially when that guy turned from a rat to a man. Talk about special effects! No matter how freaky this next movie looks I would encourage you all reading and enjoying my article to get up the nerve to see this movie. I am sure you will like it. Went last night and I totally loved the movie! Sure, a couple things were left out, but you have to expect that when they take a 600 page book and condense it to 2 and a half hours. But really, it's great!
