Been living your life with the name Michael Bolton and always having to give the pity laugh when jokes are made about your semi-famous name?
CBS feels your pain and has come up with a brand new reality series called "Same Name" where celebrities trade lives with strangers of the same name for a week. For seven whole days, celebrities will rough it away from their glamorous lifestyle and live completely like their Joe Schmo alter egos by staying in their home, going to work (gasp!) and partaking in various activities that we average people do.
The pilot episode features David Hasselhoff... and David Hasselhoff. In the premiere episode, the Hoff meets 27-year-old David from Lake Jackson, Texas, who works as an electrical technician and landscaper in his small town.
Future episodes will feature celebrities like Pamela Anderson and Charles Barkley as they find out they have more in common than just their last name. Oh you famous people, making us ordinary folk feel just like you...

"Same Name" premieres Sunday, July 24, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
