I can not answer that. We would be here for hours. I really had a great time with Paul Liebrandt’s food at Corton. I usually go see Wylie at wd-50. Tom’s new place, Colicchio & Sons, is great. He’s there cooking in the kitchen every night. I mean, his arms are burned and everything.
Tom Collichio Tweeted that Season 7 began filming yesterday. What was going through your head that first day?
I was anxious. I was ready to get started. There is a lot of waiting around on that show, so I was ready to get into the kitchen.
What is your favorite spring ingredient?
Ramps. They are probably the most unique food item to come out of the ground. It really makes a statement. It’s strong.
