Reno Hash Run

pick Reno Hash Run

Amendment 21 Grill & Sports Bar - 425 S. Virginia St. - Reno
Every 1st Saturday of the month 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.

A hash run is, essentially, a chase with beer at the beginning, middle and end, which is at a local bar. Participants follow a trail laid down by someone(s) who have a head start. Do so at your own pace and be prepared to endure a twisting path that could take you anywhere in Reno but is usually less than five miles. You don't have to be good at running, just willing to do it and have fun and be a little adventurous at the same time. Wear whatever you want and be ready to sing obscene Hashing songs, heckle the hares who make the trail and get a little tipsy. The Reno Hash House harriers recommend you bring a whistle, flashlight and dry shoes. Runs should be fairly regular on the first Saturday and third Wednesday of each month.
