The Lesbian Ferraris show up for the monthly Critical Mass bike ride around Reno on Oct. 3. Tyler, John, Aaron and Wes said the name comes from sitting around trying to brainstorm the coolest things they could think of. Apparently, after lesbians and Ferraris came up, six hours passed with no better options.

The idea of the event in Reno and elsewhere is to show that bikes are a viable way of getting around town and to remind motorists that their two-wheeled friends use the roads, too. The rides are leisurely and relaxing so participants can talk with each other and just enjoy the company of other cyclists.
