About 463 people packed into the Reno Livestock Event Center’s exhibit hall to devour 1,000 pounds of fresh Dungeness crab at the 10th annual Nevada State Fair’s Carnival of Crab fundraiser on Feb. 18. The all-you-can-eat benefit helped support fair programs and competitions for more than 700 urban and rural Nevada children involved in 4-H and FFA.
