4 Pints Tavern & Grill is one of the few places in Carson City offering all-ages punk, metal and hardcore shows. But even on your average weekday, it's still worth the drive down U.S. Highway 50 (the joint is almost in Dayton) to have a drink and a bite in a true neighborhood bar. Just don't expect to know when you'll be asked to move on or order your dinner elsewhere: the kitchen offers food specials during the weekday happy hour (4-6 p.m.), but other than that, the kitchen, and the bar, open around noon and close "whenever."
