Women of all ages lined up for the Girls Night Out Show Saturday night at the Grand Sierra Resort. Since this show was new, my friends and I didn’t know what to expect. Ladies gathered together to experience the perfect ladies night out. One group of ladies had blindfolded their girlfriend to surprise her with a night of fun with some sexy men.
Although this may change in the future, this was a one-time scheduled show where men get the ladies fired up by showing off their sexy side. It was general admission seating unless you had a table reserved in the pit (for a little bit extra), and tickets were very affordable, starting at $16.50. When the doors opened, women poured into the Grand Sierra Theatre, and it was a free-for-all, with every group of women fighting to find the perfect seat.
The show didn’t get started with the men coming out and revealing their bodies right away. It actually got off to quite a slow start. It began with a raffle and a “Price is Right” game show where ladies could win a chance to spend some time with the men on stage. Lap dances were offered, as were salon gift certificates, other prizes and chances to come on stage and be up close and personal with these dancers. The show started at 9:30 p.m., but we didn’t see a male dancer until 11 p.m. If you are going to have a raffle, it’s something that needs to be done in line when you are waiting because it took up too much time.
The Girls Night Out Show didn’t have choreographed dancing like other male revues I’ve seen. This show had more games and chances for ladies to come on stage. It felt like we spent more time watching women get a chance to go on stage with these men than they spent showing off their bodies. Of course, it’s nice for the lady on the stage, but what about the rest of the audience? We came to see the men. Private lap dances were offered for $20, which was something I’d expect more at a strip club than a show like this.
These shows are definitely a tasteful night for women to have a wild night with their girlfriends. The Girls Night Out Show lasted more than three hours, but if you are going to have a show this lengthy, you need more interaction. I spoke with some ladies during one of the intermissions and they told me that they were bored. There should never be a bored moment in a showcase of half-naked men, and women shouldn't even think about leaving early, as my group contemplated. The Girls Night Out Show certainly had its entertaining moments, but it wasn’t the kind of spectacle to leave my girlfriends and me talking for days to come.

The show was 1.5 hours to long. But, we wouldn't be saying that if the entire time there was a naked man or two on stage. It had a lot of potential...
