Corrigan's Bit O' Ireland
1526 S. Wells Ave. - RenoCorrigan’s Bit O’ Ireland is a quaint little Irish Pub with pool, music and a whole lot of Guinness. But the best part about Corrigan’s is the friendly atmosphere. The regulars all appear to know each other and everyone is quick to welcome newcomers. Although Corrigan’s does not have a standard “happy hour” with drink specials, the upbeat bartenders insist “Every hour is a happy hour at Corrigan’s Bit O’ Ireland.”
Rapscallion Seafood House & Bar
1555 S. Wells Ave. - RenoRapscallion is an upscale seafood restaurant designed in the style of old San Francisco. They haven't built their own Golden Gate (yet), but the place does its best to bring in fresh seafood for their 20 specials served alongside certified prime Angus beef. To go with your fish or cow is an expansive wine list and a full bar that dispenses signature sauce. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
Ryan's Saloon & Broiler
924 S. Wells Ave. - RenoRyan's Saloon is the poster child for cool dive bars. This small bar features all of the essentials for a fun night out including a pool table, a jukebox and of course, a full bar. A grill right at the bar allows customers to watch their food being prepared. Peanut shells on the floor make for a relaxed, care-free atmosphere. Ryan's Saloon gets back to basics with booze, burgers and friendly service.
Lucke's Saloon
1455 S. Wells Ave. - RenoLucke's Saloon may look like a rough bar on the outside, but newcomers quickly learn that the staff and customers alike are friendly and easy-going. No dress code is enforced at Lucke's Saloon, so come as you are and get ready for a good time. Two pool tables in the bar are available for early morning or late night play. Lucke's Saloon opens each day at 9 a.m. and doesn’t close until the fun stops.
Filthy McNastys Irish Pub
1718 Holcomb Ave. - RenoAn Irish bar close enough to Wells to almost count. The place has the full bar with specials throughout the week, happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. (with free drink to those sporting lift tickets) and $2 shots on Wednesdays with Rock Band. Other diversions include beer pong and Wii games. Ladies who are short on cash can donate their bar to the line for a free drink.
Ceol Irish Pub
538 S. Virginia St. - RenoSpecializing in serving Irish brews and whiskeys, Ceol Irish Pub is a place that screams Irish pride. Throughout the pub are emblems on the walls representing the Emerald Isle and lots of space to enjoy spirits and friends. Ceol also offers live entertainment weekly (at least), happy hours and a variety of beverages for the Irish in each one of us.
Amendment 21 Grill & Sports Bar
425 S. Virginia St. - RenoAmendment 21 is a laid-back pub and grill with mahogany wood and high ceilings at the edge of downtown. They've got lots of extras and easily fit in the Irish category with a flag proudly displayed and dealings with the Notre Dame Club of Northern Nevada.
Shea's Tavern
715 S. Virginia St. - RenoShea's Tavern is not for the faint of heart. Its raw atmosphere coupled with loud punk rock and heavy metal music often leads to wild nights. With no dress code and few rules, Shea's is a nice change from the popular club scene. Shea's is open daily with drink specials that keep customers satisfied until the wee hours of the morning.
Foley's Irish Pub
3655 S. Virginia St. - RenoLots of Irish choices complement more typical bar grub fare. The gaggle of TVs tend toward European sports like soccer, and that's just fine with us and the patrons that are looking for good Irish atmosphere and entertainment.
Napper Tandy's Irish Pub
541 E. Moana Lane - RenoA little quieter than other local Irish Pubs, Napper Tandy's is small and quaint. Popular radio provides the aural atmosphere and numerous TVs cover local news and sports. Located close to Pinocchio's and Jake's Place, it's the perfect place to grab a drink after dinner.
Paddy and Irene's Irish Pub
906 Victorian Ave. - SparksPaddy and Irene's Irish Pub is an up-tempo, authentic Irish bar where you can get the best Irish imported beers and ales surrounded by that true drinking spirit. They're known for their Irish Car bombs, but the Bloody Mary's are great and the Jello Shots are always $2. Plus, they've got pool tables and darts, with dart leagues every Tuesday and Thursday. If being the only real Irish bar in Sparks isn't enough, then take this into consideration: it's got the hottest bartenders on Victorian Avenue, or as the owner says, Come see the tits and tatts.
O'Skis Pub & Grille
840 Victorian Ave. - SparksO'Skis is a great Irish bar and one of the only places to find good European imported beer around. It's got great food and is a nice place to bring grandma, but, don't be afraid to get drunk while you're at it. O'Skis also has a back room that you can rent all to yourself and throw the most Irish party your friends have ever seen.
Donley's Irish Pub
2174 Greenbrae Drive - SparksWith the saying If you're not here to have fun, drink, gamble, play pool or throw darts, don't come in, posted on their front door, Donley's is a true Irish bar. Inside one will find plenty of pool tables and dart machines and an atmosphere of a classic bar scene from the movies. Open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. daily, and keeps its doors open if the party inside is still going.
