This longtime Reno dive will likely survive the apocalypse. The music lineup takes "anything goes" to the absolute limit, as every stripe, from quiet folkies to industrial-strength metalheads, squeeze onto its tiny stage most nights of the week. The Monday open mike is truly a free-for-all, from wild poetry to performance art madness. The sound quality isn't the best, but the joyously unpredictable atmosphere makes up for it. Not for the faint of heart.
