The Reserve Wine Bar at the Grand Sierra Resort offers a selection of eighty different varieties of wine coming from areas such as Spain, Italy, Chile, Australia, France, and Napa Valley. To accompany the wines, fine chocolates and cheeses are also served. The wines are stored in cabinets which are chilled to different temperatures based on the type of grape. After the bottles have been corked, a system of gaseous nitrogen is used to preserve the wine. The unique 'vending machine' system of pouring allows wine connoisseurs to sample in increments of one, three, and five ounces, using a card purchased at the main counter.
