From the floor to the ceiling, wood covers the area along with UNR gear, huge wood wagons, televisions tuned to sports channels and fliers promoting the restaurant’s next event. Located near the University, The Wal (established in 1922) is a favorite for students. Check out their wide variety of beers on tap or a unique shot such as a “Scooby Snack.” The restaurant has a nice crowd for lunch and is usually bustling on the weekends and during football season and always on Thursday (college) nights. The Wal also hosts special events such as trike races on Wednesdays.

They even serve a lunch buffet, and you can catch sports action at any hour day or night. And beer is available in 1/4 or 1/6 keg options. Local bands play Thursdays and DJ EJ Luera is a frequent presence.
Sully's Sportsbar and Grill

With 27 jumbo plasma TV screens, you can see the game from every angle, and nine booths are equipped with personal screens. Classic pub food is served, including Buffalo-style chicken wings, chili fries, a huge lineup of burgers, and individual-size pizzas. Adjacent to the restaurant is a video arcade, darts and pool tables, and outside is a basketball court. Ask a staff member for a ball and the court is yours to play day or night.
