The November edition of the Reno Beer Crawl is sponsored by Firestone Walker Brewing Co. and follows the inaugural Holidazzle parade downtown. The event also takes places during the annual CalAve Merchants Association Holiday Stroll. So that's beer, shopping and a parade all downtown for your holiday enjoyment.
And for November he crawl benefits City of ReMo, the local grassroots Movember team. Movember participants grow mustaches during the month of November to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues — prostate and testicular cancers in particular.
Later in the day, Movember has its big Stache Bash party at Sierra Tap House.
There will be a raffle for 10-$25 gift certificates to participating taverns (a $250 value) at 6:30pm at The Waterfall. Turn your raffle tickets into the Waterfall by 6 p.m. to be eligible. Participants may purchase another four raffle tickets for $1 to improve your chance of winning, with all proceeds to go towards the City of ReMo. Additionally, the first 50 people with real or fake mustaches will have their $5 glass purchase donated to City of ReMo.
Check out the Metromix Beer Crawl Guide, a video tour of the monthly event.
