The downtown Reno Beer Crawl celebrates Halloween on Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. For just $5, you can pick up a glass and a map at either Amendment 21 Grill & Sports Bar, The Waterfall or Foxy Olive. You can hop on a shuttle that loops around or make your own way to the 19 participating bars. At each place, $1 gets you 6 ounces of choice beer.
For a full list of the bars and the drinks their serving, check out this Metromix beer crawl playlist.
A week before Halloween, the monthly Reno Beer Crawl would love everyone to come in costume. In fact, the big prize this time of $25 gift certificates to all participating bars will be given to the winner of the costume contest (which Metromix will help judge). There also are Bighorns basketball tickets and Wolf Pack football tickets to be had.
This month, the local business sponsor is the Reno Bighorns, an NBA development league. The nonprofit is Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training, which helps athletes do endurance training while supporting cancer research.
Free parking for cars and bikes is available at the Amendment 21 surface lot, the 50 West Liberty parking structure at 440 S. Sierra, the new Washoe County lot on Court and Virginia streets, and the City of Reno lot at Second and Virginia streets.
